Success for past EnVision Attendees

Michelle Meaby's story won second place in Voices on the Coast children's Literary Festival Competition. She is workign withLeonie Tyle from UQP to develop this story.

Donna Hanson's 'Dragon Wine' has been selected for a Varuna Manuscript Development.

EnVision attendee Jason Nahrung is among the first four Australian writers to have books selected for Lothian Books' new Dark Suspense series. His manuscript, The Darkness Within, was workshopped at EnVision in 2004. The story was originally conceived as an email exchange between Jason and his partner Mil when they were courting, he in Brisbane and she in Melbourne. He rewrote and expanded the resulting novella, then polished it at EnVision and through his Writers on the Edge critique group (founded by fellow EnVisionaries). Lothian expects to publish the first four books in June-August, 2006.
