Reckon you could create a video game packed with more excitement and exploration than Lara Croft Tomb Raider or the intensity to compete with Halo or perhaps greater speed and danger than Grand Theft Auto?
Game Writing gives ten promising newcomers the opportunity to develop the expertise needed to reach the next stage in gaming industry careers. Winners receive prize money and the chance to present a game concept to industry professionals.

This initiative was funded by a grant from Arts Queensland. It forms part of the Queensland Government's Creative Writers – Queensland Writing Strategy 2004 – 2006, which distributes $1.33 million across three years to foster the creation of fresh content and expanded possibilities for authors throughout the region.
